Almost 80

Yesterday we had weather almost in the 80's so we broke out a summer outfit and she was just too cute!! Right now Mamaw and Papaw are here from Illinois to hang out with Abby and celebrate Easter with us. Abby was having fun with Papaw, she loves to feel his beard.

Going for a walk

The weather has been nice lately so when I am home on my Friday's off we like to go for walks. Abby is sporting her new pair of green sunglasses, she has such big eyes : ) She just loves taking walks too and Leeza is getting used to walking next to the stroller.

Munchkin

"Munchkin" has become Abby's nickname so while we were in Colorado Springs a couple of weekends ago we went to Dunkin Donuts (we don't have any in Denver) and bought some munchkins : ) She didn't get to eat the munchkins but she completely loved the box.

Colorado Springs

A couple of weekends ago we went to Colorado Springs for the weekend to just get away and reminisce with Jon (that is where he grew up). Abby slept in her pack n play and did pretty well. She is just so much fun to spend time with, she is a very active little girl. I think she wore her daddy out : ) It was nice too because the hotel we stayed at was dog friendly so Leeza was able to come with us.

St Patrick's Day

Here is Abby in her green on St Patrick's Day. She is holding her own bottle most of the time now, what a BIG girl!!

6 months old

It is so hard to believe that Abby is already 6 months old!! She has come a long way! She is so much fun right now with all that she is learning each and every day. She just loves to stand, babble and be busy all the time. As I always say we are just so blessed to have her in our lives, we just love every moment we have with her. Abby has been eating solids including green beans, peas, carrots and squash. She seems to like just about everything we have given her so far. She had pears for the first time yesterday and I couldn't get them to her fast enough.

At her 6 month appointment today she just loved the paper on the table, it was too cute. Her head measured 44.5 inches which puts her in the 94% range, she is 17 lbs 3 oz which is in the 75% range and she is 26 inches tall which falls in the 60% range. She had 4 shots and she cried for about 10 seconds!! Again, the paper on the table is her new favorite toy : ) We are going to start feeding her more solids and introduce more and more foods, YEAH!!

Sunglasses

Abby got her first pair of sunglasses!! These are just a riot! We need to get her used to wearing sunglasses since it is so sunny here and to get her used to them for when we are in Kauai. She doesn't like it when you are putting them on her but once they are on she doesn't bother them (yet).

Just being cute...

Today was my Friday off so Abby and I had the day to hang out. She was being really cute and wearing her onesie that says I love mommy! She is so much fun and we just love watching her grow. It is amazing how every day she seems to be doing something new.

Abby's first vegetable

Today Abby had her first vegetable, green beans. The texture didn't seem to bother her, it was more a taste issue. She ate them slowly and will most likely come to like them soon. How exciting!!

I love my sister!

Abby just loves watching Leeza and petting her. We are working with her to try and keep her from pulling Leeza's hair. Leeza is growing to like her more and more but it is still a slow process : )

"World's cutest alarm clock"

Abby has been waking up around 3:45am for a few days in a row so Jon dressed her in this cute onesie on Thursday and it seems to have worked because she didn't wake up until 5:30am this morning!! That does make her a cuter alarm clock.

Abby is standing all by herself now while holding onto the ottoman. She is not very stable but can stand for a few seconds at a time. She is growing up so fast!

Ready for a walk
